Every “Hello” ends with a “Goodbye”

February 4, 2010

Finally I wrote a farewell email to the whole company.

When I wrote that email, as I click “send” I was quite nervous. There was an emotional rush panicking in my blood that divides my emotion on whether or not I was ready to leave this company.

Two years working here was probably the highlight of my life. There were ups and downs. Come to think about it, I actually loved my job here. I will miss it dearly and I will those people I have worked with.

I’ll miss you guys but like I said, every “Hello” ends with a “Good Bye”.

Ok. Back to packing up my cubicle.

Expo & Escape to KL Packed.

June 30, 2009

There are so many things I’d like to spill out but the main thing I gotta tell you is that I was so busy with Ekspo Mega Beli Barangan Malaysia at KLCC Convention Centre that I almost felt left out on Michael Jackson’s death (R.I.P) but only smiled to myself thinking he died a Muslim. Innalillahhi wa innalillahi raji’un.

The Ekspo was tiring but good. made good sales from Wednesday all the way to Sunday.I’m still bummed out for not attending the lil gathering to surprise Hanim at Palate Palette last Sunday. While others were busy hanging out, I was busy selling stuff at my booth & answering questions from concerned consumers.

Work work work. I love & hate you.

I  managed to escape work and go to Urbanscapes which I was proud of. I missed out Deepset though but I’m glad I didn’t spend Joseph’s money on anything from the bazaar but spent it on drinks & ice cream instead. and why didn’t we go to C&C? hmm.

I’m off to Malacca now for work. I’ll update mostly on twitter .

I’m a time juggler and you just have to be nicer.

In real life and outside this editor box, I am actually a marketer.

I work full time for a food manufacturing company and I market snacks to the local market although I would love to try the Export Team someday. This manufacturing company owns a sister company which is an advertising agency and they provide so many different kinds of services; from event managing, designing packaging, website advertisement, etc.

I took a small part and tried out client servicing with the sister agency and at the same time, still work as the marketer. Having to handle two types of email from two different companies is already a little complicated. Furthermore, I was part time studying then.

Now that I’m done with my studies, I stopped working with the agency and focus more on being a marketer as I have a new boss now (he’s a great teacher, by the way).

But I always look for some time to kill and I want to kill it progressively. I took up a part time job outside work. Weekend job.

Shitballz. It’s tiring to work in a fashion boutique when I would’ve used those hours to sleep and rest at home after hours of working 50 hours in week!

but the experience is great. In day I learnt how to greet customers rather than being greeted, take out new stocks and reading SKU code for clothing lines. They sure don’t look the same as our snacks product! LOL.

It’s great. but I can use a bunch of nicer girls to work with in a boutique. Like, seriously.

Shit I need a haircut.

I have been expecting good news, but apparently good news is not coming anywhere near me for now. I should’ve seen it coming, and I think it’s time to move on.

Look Ma i’m on the newspaper! pfft.

March 23, 2009

So yea, that’s the write up from Metro Ahad.

Personally, I am not a fan of the Metro as I find it as a tabloid rather than the newspaper. But I find that the sport writer for Metro is actually an open-minded man who has probably traveled around the world much. But I am not talking about the writer.

Just to share with everyone, this is basically a part of what I have been working on for the past one year. Finally, the contest ended and all 30 winners have flown to Manchester and stepped into Old Trafford.

And no, I am still not a big fan of soccer (God knows how much I yawn everytime the boys talk about soccer) but to experience the match was spectacular! (although again, I feel sorry for MU for the loss(es) they have been going through lately!).

I hope everyone was happy with the trip, despite they the fact they had to watch such bad loss. We’re still a bunch of lucky people!

p/s:I don’t think it’s fair for some people to (still) complain about the trip. Please dude, don’t be such an ungrateful ARSE!(you know who you are, mummy’s boy LOL )
